Dear Serotonin Club Member,

May we remind you that you now have less than 3 weeks to submit your abstract for the Oxford meeting.  Late abstracts cannot be accepted due to printing deadlines.

Would all speakers also ensure they have submitted an abstract.

Early Bird registration also ends on 20th March so do register now and save money.

Both registration and abstract submission is via the EPHAR web site: www.ephar2008.org
Some people seem to have had problems negotiating the registration and abstract submission systems on the web site, we apologise for this but to avoid considerable costs to the meeting it was advantagious to use the system devised by the EPHAR meeting meeting (the Serotonin Club meeting is a satellite meeting of EPHAR).

To register for the Serotonin Club meeting: Registration requires you to go the EPHAR web site.  Click on registration and Serotonin Club registration is at the bottom of the page.  You first have to enter some personal details to use the site, then it will take you to the meeting registration section.   It is a bit fiddly, but generally intuitive, so follow your nose and click the appropriate buttons. All the cost options are there for registering for the meeting (which also includes accomodation and all meals) and you will be sent a final confimation shortly after registering. There is even an address for asking questions if you have problems.

To submit an abstract again go to the line for abstract submission and click.  There is no separate submission section for the Serotonin Club as when you log in to submit an abstract you are actually logging into the EPHAR meeting. This is why it does not ask you which meeting you are submitting to until step 3 when you pick a topic/symposium. In Step 3 you can select the Serotonin Meeting in both the drop down topic list and a separate tick box.

We hope this information is useful!   If you have any questions regarding registration or accomodations please contact Richard Greene at Richard.Green@nottingham.ac.uk or Trevor Sharp at trevor.sharp@pharmacology.oxford.ac.uk.  Do not contact Sheryl Beck or Shatich Rivers because we will not have the answers for you.

We look forward to welcoming you to Oxford and the Serotonin Club.
